Carolyn Priscilla Lewis Hassett
Carolyn Priscilla Lewis Hassett of Union Point, GA, died on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the age of 72. Born in Sparta, GA on October 3, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Wyles Augustus Lewis and Ella Meredith Askew Clements. She grew up and attended school in Sparta, GA. Most of her life she worked as a retail manager for Drug Fair . She also worked for Chevron in Covington and worked for Golden Pantry in Greensboro retiring in 2006. She enjoyed shopping and was always taking care of others. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.
Priscilla is survived by three sons, Mike Pritchard and wife Linda of Utica, NY, Mitch Pritchard and wife Cathy of Panama City, FL and James Hassett and wife Julia of Port Wentworth, GA; grandchildren, Terry (Tiffany), Jessica (Joseph), Shannon, Ashley (Shelton), Mesha, Jonathan, Gordon, Melynda, Jennifer and James; great grandchildren, Ariean, Jeriah, Jayden, Kaitlin, Jordyn, Jaydin, Shelton Jr and Emma; brother, Larry Lewis and wife Linda; good friend, Richard Baker; her beloved chihuahua, Cocoa; a number of other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by a son Mark.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Dennis Mitchell officiating. The family requests that any memorials be made to Liberty United Methodist Church, c/o Dede Smith, 1691 Bramlett Road, Greensboro, GA 30642. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
