Phyllis Ann Carson Hardeman, age 73, of Greensboro, GA, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle, GA. Born on October 10, 1938 in Bishop, GA, she was the daughter of the late Harrison D. Carson and Rosa Nell Leachman Carson both of Bishop, GA. In 1956 she graduated from Oconee High School. She was a homemaker and a very active and faithful member of Walker United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Craig "Ron" Hardeman on June 12, 2005. She is survived by a daughter, Renda Kay Rafus of Bishop, GA; two grandchildren, Lindsey Ann Rafus and Colby Craig Rafus; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Walker United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Pike officiating. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
