Philip Scott Bedley

Philip Scott Bedley, age 46, of Buckhead, GA died Sunday, July 2, 2006. Born on September 2, 1959 in Middlesex County, Massachusetts he was the son of Ralph and Eleanor Bedley of Greensboro, GA. In 1979 he graduated from Fayette County High School. After graduation he worked for Clayton County Sheriff''s Department as a Deputy and was part of the Special Enforcement Team. He was a former Morgan County Fireman and was currently working as a Fireman for Putnam County and volunteered in Morgan County. Hunting and fishing were his favorite pastimes.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Ginny Bedley of Buckhead, GA; a daughter, Heather Bedley of Buckhead, GA; a son, Randall Bedley and wife Chelsea and grandson, Ryan Scott Bedley of Griffin, GA; two sisters, Nancy Tkaczuk of Roswell, GA and Donna Richards and husband Anthony of Brooks, GA; three brothers, Richard Bedley of Eatonton, GA, John "Jack" Bedley of Douglasville, GA and Thomas Bedley and wife Laura of Fayetteville, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Brooks Memorial Cemetery in Brooks, Georgia with Rev. Royeese Stowe officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
