Pauline Parham “Pat” Attaway, age 76, of Greensboro, GA died Monday, February 7, 2005 at Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital. Born in Laurens County, SC on October 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Foster Bell Parham and Mabel Touchton Parham. She was a graduate of Hapeville High School. She worked as a secretary, was a homemaker and once ran for County Commissioner in DeKalb County. She had moved to Greene County in 1989 and was a member of Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a son, Glen Douglas Attaway, of Greensboro, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Lucious Attaway in 1990; two brothers, Douglas Parham and Edward Parham; and a sister, Evelyn Warren.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Joe King and Rev. John Kinser officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
