Patricia Elaine Lenon Wright

Patricia Elaine Lenon Wright, 59, of Greensboro, Georgia died Thursday, September 11, 2003 at Emory University Hospital. She was born July 3, 1944 in Wayne County, Michigan to the late Decota Andrew Lenon and Mary Marie Vowell Lenon. She was a 1962 graduate of Creston High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 1990 she started working for Citizens Union Bank where she was a bookkeeper, teller and later a loan clerk and personal banker. She had lived in Greene County since 1990 and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Jacquelyn M. Wright Anton of Greensboro, Georgia and Sandra L. Wright Simpson of Greensboro, Georgia; a son, Tyler A. Wright of Covington, Georgia; a dear friend and companion, Gary M. Leach of Greensboro, Georgia; two brothers, Larry L. Lenon and wife Carole of Rockford, Michigan and Kenneth G. Lenon and wife Joan of Grand Rapids, Michigan; four grandchildren, David A. Etzkorn-Anton, Shaylynn R. Simpson, Savannah M. Simpson and Anenaca M. Simpson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Emery Wright, in May of 1993 and a granddaughter, Alicia Simpson, in September of 2001.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church with Rev. Stan Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Billy Leach, Albert Penland, Bill Waple, Larry Jones, William C. Leach, and Bob Rittenhouse. Honorary pallbearers are Ryan Smith, Richard Maddux, Craig Beeler and Ceils Merritt. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday night at the Funeral Home. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Leukemia Society of America, Georgia Chapter, 1447 Peachtree Street, N. E., Suite 601, Atlanta, GA 30309. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
