Patricia Jane Thompson Warren, age 79, of Greensboro and Clayton, GA, died on Monday, August 25, 2014 at her residence. Born in Columbus, GA on July 11, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Douberly and Helen Cook Douberly.  She was a graduate of Columbus High School in Columbus, GA.  She married George Monroe Warren on July 25, 1953 and they had been married for sixty-one years.  For thirty-three years they lived in Conyers, GA where they owned and operated the Crab and Claw Restaurant. In 2003 they moved to Clayton, GA. In 2008 they purchased a second home in Greensboro, GA. Patricia was a member of First United Methodist Church of Clayton and attended the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro.  She was a member of the Eastern Star in Gatun Panama Canal Zone.  She was an avid volunteer, excellent cook, enjoyed playing bridge and shopping, but most of all she enjoyed being with family and friends.
 
In addition to her husband, George Warren of Greensboro, GA, she is survived by a daughter, Ramona Warren Phelps (Rodger) of Greensboro, GA; four sons, George Warren III (Laurie) of Suwanee, GA, Lindsey Warren (Stacy) of Johns Creek, GA, Wesley Warren of Covington, GA and Brian Warren (Lori) of Sugar Hill, GA; siblings, Barry Thompson (Judy) of Washington, GA and Peggy Nutt of Duluth, GA; grandchildren, Leighann Warren, Whitney Warren, Dillon Warren. Raleigh Warren, Jordan Warren (Desi), Brandi Warren Wilkes (Brandon), Megan Warren, Joshua Warren and Chris Warren; five great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
 
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro North Campus, 202 W. Broad Street, Greensboro, GA  30642 with Rev. Charlie Green officiating.  The family will receive friends at a reception following the service at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.  The family requests that any memorials be made in memory of Patricia Warren to Pruitt Hospice, 435 Hawthorne Avenue, Athens, GA 30606.
