Oscar Rafael Lopez-Cepero
Oscar Rafael Lopez-Cepero, of Buford, GA, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital, at the age of 77. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on November 10, 1938 to the late Manuel Lopez-Cepero and Carmen Colon Toscano. He graduated from Dr. Pila High School in Ponce, Puerto Rico. At the age of seventeen he relocated to the United States. He served in the United States Air Force for eleven years and was stationed in the Philippines. All of his working career, he worked in the furniture industry. He had a great personality and was loved by everyone. Most recently he had moved to Greensboro to be close to his sister and family.
Survivors include his daughters, Christina Maria Terrasini and Natisha Terrasini Banker both of California; sisters, Maricel Mattei and husband Roberto Mattei of Greensboro, GA and Carmen Lopez-Cepero of Orlando, FL; brother, Cayetano Lopez-Cepero Sr. and Ana Lluch of Ave Maria, FL; grandchildren, Athina Banker and Atticus Banker; nephews, Cayetano Lopez-Cepero, Jr., Roberto M. (Robbie) Mattei, and Omar Rafael Lopez-Cepero; nieces, Awilda Lopez-Cepero and Lianne Cornell; other relatives and many friends.
