Nina Lively Hilsman
Nina Lively Hilsman of McDonough, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her residence. She was 75. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 2, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Clinton Paul Lively and Catherine Fain Lively. She attended school at Rosevelt High School and later married William Malcolm Hilsman On June 22, 1957. They moved to McDonough where she had lived for the last 45 years. She spent most of her life as a homemaker who enjoyed doing for her family and friends. She was an excellent cook, and enjoyed canning. Nina loved her grandchildren and family and will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of Morrow United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, William Malcolm “Bill” Hilsman of McDonough, GA, she is survived by a son, Robert Hilsman and daughter-in-law, Cathy Hilsman; daughter Cheryl Bragg; grandson, Robbie Hilsman; three granddaughters, Brynn Hilsman, Ashley Bragg and Andrea Bragg; a sister, Elizabeth “Cricket” Lee; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Lively and Polly Bowling; and a brother, Billy Lively.
Graveside Services will be held Monday, August 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery, 1020 Main Street W., White Plains, GA 30678 with Dr. Norman Waldrip officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until time for the service at McCommons Funeral Home. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
