Nathan Lindsey Obituary

Nathan Anderson “Andy” Lindsey, age 53, of Union Point, GA died Thursday, November 22, 2012. A native of Greene County, Andy was born December 29, 1958, the son of James Richard Lindsey of Greensboro, GA and the late Cherie Jo Beeland Lindsey. He grew up in Greensboro and attended Greene County High School. He married the former Kitty Ogletree of Union Point on March 17, 1978 at the Union Point Methodist Church. For the last twenty-two years, he was the owner and operator of Lindsey Auto Service in Union Point. He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling and playing computer games. In addition to his father, James Richard “Buddy” Lindsey (Trudy) of Greensboro, GA, he is survived by his wife, Kathryn Ogletree “Kitty” Lindsey of Union Point, GA; sons, Brad Lindsey (Maria) of Bethlehem, GA, Christopher David Shockley (Charity) of Union Point, GA and Richard Lee Shockley (Sarah) of Athens, GA; sister, Chee Brown (Michael) of the Veazey Community; brothers, Ricky Lindsey (Sherrie Hubbard) of Union Point, GA, Roy Dennis Bradley of Siloam, GA and Charles Scott “Scotty” Bradley (Nick) of Duluth, GA; grandchildren, Alexis Shockley, Jessie Rutherford, Alyssa Rutherford and Kaitlyn Lindsey; his beloved dog, “Miss Priss”; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Callaway Funeral Home with Rev. James Bowen officiating.
