Myrtie Mae Poss, age 99, of Union Point, GA, died Monday, November 9, 2009 at Greene Point Healthcare & Rehabilitation In Union Point. Graveside Services were held Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Wisteria Cemetery in Union Point.

Mrs. Poss was born December 16, 1909 in Crawfordville, GA, the daughter of William Clark Bryan and Sarah Elizabeth Turner Bryan. She retired from Spalding Hosiery Mill, Griffin, GA and was a member of Griffin First Baptist Church. Mrs. Poss was the widow of John Robert Poss.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Virginia Adams; two brothers, Jewel Bryan and Gordon Bryant; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
