Molly Michele (Nesson) Bonner

Molly Michele Nesson Bonner of Buckhead, Georgia passed away on October 14, 2018 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. She was born on April 13, 1968 in Madison, Wisconsin to James Ronald Nesson and Cynthia Nesson. She graduated from McFarland High School in 1986 and attended the University of Minnesota and Georgia College. She graduated from Piedmont College with a Masters and Specialists Degree in education. On March 16, 1996 she married Edward Everette Bonner.  Molly taught school for twenty-four years, four years at Union Point Elementary and  twenty years at Morgan County teaching gifted children. Beginning this year she was teaching third grade which she dearly loved.  Her goal was to inspire her students and motivate them to do their best. She had a tremendous influence on many children over the years and was very serious about her profession. She was multitalented and enjoyed drawing, painting, sewing, fishing and playing tennis and golf.  She had a passion for travelling and in addition to travelling all over the United States, she had also enjoyed going to Rome, Italy and Paris, France.  She had the best personality and was hysterically funny.

Molly thoroughly enjoyed life and tried to make every occasion special for her friends, but she particularly wanted things to be special for her husband and son, who were the center of her life. 

In addition to her husband, Ed Bonner of Buckhead, GA; father, James Ronald Nesson; mother, Cynthia Nesson and husband Bruce Simonson, she is survived by her son, Chase Nesson Bonner. Survivors also include many nieces and nephews that she adored and a multitude of friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Madison Baptist Church, 328 South Main Street, Madison, GA 30650 with Rev. Dennis Garner and Dr. Scott Anderson officiating. A reception for friends will follow at the fellowship hall.
