Minnie Pearl Griffith

Minnie Pearl Griffith, age 52, of the Bairdstown Community, died on Friday, September 29, 2006 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born December 7, 1953 in Jasper County, Georgia she was the daughter of the late John Edgar Griffith and Lorene Kenny Griffith. Pearl attended Union Point High School and Winder High School and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Chadwick Clark; siblings, Frances Griffith and Bobby Griffith; and a nephew, Shane Mote. She is survived by two sisters, Jerry G. Mote and husband Raymond of Cleveland, GA and Linda G. Batchelor and husband Johnny of Eatonton, GA; two brothers, Tim Holt Griffith of Bethlehem, GA and John F. Griffith and wife Betty of Union Point, GA; nephews, Louie Mote, Brian Batchelor, Jesse Batchelor, Mike Griffith and Joey Griffith

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Lem Clark officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
