Melvin L. Fultz, 56, of Greensboro, GA and formerly of Temperance, MI, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002 at Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, GA. Born May 25,1946 in Toledo, he was the son of Leroy M. and Lois E. (Rodenhauser) Fultz. He married Beverly Joan Smith on July 10, 1972 in Murrayville, GA. A certified public accountant, Melvin was a retired partner for Ernst & Young, LLP in Toledo. He was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and received his bachelor''s degree in 1968 from Eastem Michigan University. He is a member of Hope United Methodist Church in Toledo, The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and was past president of the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and served on the Executive Board and as treasurer on the Board of Trustees for the Jamie Farr Kroger Classic. As a member and historian of Inverness Club in Toledo, Melvin served as production manager and research assistant for Inverness Club - Its Vibrant Voice Chimes Through a Century (1903-2003). Surviving are his loving wife, Beverly. Sister in law, I. Lucile Fultz of Temperance. Nephew, Robert Fultz of Adrian, MI. He was preceded in death by his Parents and brother, Robert D. Fultz. Friends may call from 2-9 pm Thursday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. McCommons Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
