    Mary Jim Williams Boswell, age 99 of Watkinsville, GA, died April 9, 2014.  A native and longtime resident of Greensboro, GA, Mrs. Boswell was the daughter of the late James Cranston Williams and Mary Gullatt Williams and the widow of William Reid Boswell, Sr.  She was a  member of The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, graduate of Georgia State College for Women, proof reader for The Herald-Journal, talented at drawing and poster making, and a homemaker.
    Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law William Reid, Jr. and Mary Boswell, Athens, GA; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Jo and Hilton Hightower of Blakely, GA, and Edna Rhodes of Watkinsville, GA; a granddaughter and spouse, Kimberly and Benjamin Cook, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; and two great grandchildren, Herrin Boswell Cook, and Benjamin Cook, III, of Atlanta, GA.  Survivors also include step-grandchildren Hilton, III and Elizabeth Hightower of Tallahassee, FL, and Joe and Amy Dent of Albany, GA.; great step-grandchildren Mary Larkin and Gracen Carden of Albany, GA, and Sophie, Ava and Lily Hightower of Tallahassee, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
    A family graveside service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014, at 3 pm in Penfield Cemetery, Penfield, GA with Dr. Edward R. Bolen officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greene County Historical Society, P.O. Box 238, Greensboro, GA 30642.  McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
