Mary Lou Collins Windsor, age 91, of Woodville, GA, died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Greene Point Health Care Center in Union Point. Born in Woodville, GA on June 3, 1915 she was the youngest of eight children of the late Mary Susan Reynolds and Pope Collins. She lived most of her life in the same home which was built by her Grandfather John Reynolds after he returned from the Civil War. She enjoyed keeping the home place for her brothers and sisters and their extended families to return to through the years.

In 1934 she married Everett (Buck) Windsor. She rejoiced in her job as homemaker for her husband and family. All of her life Mary Lou attended the Woodville Baptist Church, where she had been a member since about 1925. She taught the Junior Sunday School Class for many years, helped in BTU, Bible School and served in other capacities of the Women''s Missionary Society. She was also active in the Georgia Baptist Association meetings. Mary Lou enjoyed civic activities of the Greene County Home Demonstration Club and other civic, community and church related activities throughout Greene County. In later years she was a Pink Lady at Minnie G. Boswell Hospital in Greensboro, a volunteer job in which she found much pleasure in doing with her very dear friends, Mary Frances Ott, Mable Shaw and Agnes Young. All during her life she was a caregiver to members of her family and people throughout the community. She loved giving to and doing for others. In October of 2005 she moved to Willow Run Retirement Home where she renewed old acquaintances and made many new friends.

She is survived by a daughter, Ellen Windsor Rodriguez and husband Santos of Fayetteville, GA; a son, Kenneth Windsor of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, John Cheves and David Cheves of Stone Mountain, GA, Todd and Debbie Windsor of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Chris and Suzie Windsor of Gainesville, GA; great grandchildren, Emily Rose Windsor, Lily Elizabeth Windsor and Ethan Everett Windsor; and a host of other relatives and friends.
