Mary Thompson Obituary

Mary Susan Cofer Thompson, age 55, of Orlando, FL, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at her home. She was born on April 30, 1953 in Washington, GA to the late Isabelle Acree Cofer and Frank Carroll Cofer, Sr. She worked as a Long Distance Telephone Operator for Sprint for 24 years.

She is survived by her loving husband David L. Thompson of Orlando, FL; two stepdaughters, Leona Kay Lotze and husband Carl and Diana L. Thompson; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Union Point with Rev. Bert Mathews officiating. Interment will follow at Wisteria Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Carl Lotze, Charlie Posch, Charles Chafin, Scott Chafin, Al Cason, Herb Acree, Steve Chafin and Frank Bentley.
