Mary Twilley Ray, age 85, of Greensboro, Georgia, died Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Greene Point Health Care & Rehabilitation in Union Point, Georgia. Born in Jewell, Georgia on May 8, 1932, she was the daughter of the late James Twilley and Fannie Marcus Twilley. Mary was a graduate of Union Point High School, and lived and worked around Greene County the majority of her life. She was a member of Bairds Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Ray and wife Dorothy of Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Darrell Ray of Century, Florida. Three granddaughters, Kenna Ray Hunter and husband Eric of Fayetteville, Georgia, Lanie Ray of Marietta, Georgia, and Cassandra Ray Kreer and husband Alex of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Four great grandchildren, Kensley, Jayce, Autumn, and Adley.
In honor of her life, friends and family are invited to come together at 1:00 on Sunday, April 22nd, at the Community Center in Union Point. Barbecue and beverages will be provided.
