Martha Ann Tidwell Kammerer, age 68, of Reynolds Plantation, Greensboro, GA, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Macon, Georgia on January 7, 1945, she was the daughter of Martha Vivian Barron Tidwell of Macon, GA and the late Daniel Louis Tidwell. She earned a Bachelor''s Degree from Georgia Southern University. She married Edward G. Kammerer, Sr. on May 31, 1970 in Macon, Georgia. After several years as a Social Worker for Richmond County DFACS and a Psychiatric Social Worker in Princeton, New Jersey she retired in 1971 upon the birth of her first child. They last lived in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Georgia thirteen years ago to live at Reynolds Plantation. She was a member of Lake Oconee Community Church in Reynolds Plantation, the Plantation Ladies Club and Friends of the Library. She was especially fond of golf and tennis.

In addition to her husband, Edward Kammerer, Sr., of Greensboro, GA, she is survived by her children, Margaret Kammerer Cooper and her husband Clayton of Rome, GA and Edward Kammerer, Jr. and his wife Yvette of Denver, CO; a brother, Coleman Tidwell, Sr. of Macon GA; her granddaughters, Abigail, Emily, Vivian, Brennan and Barrett; and a number of other relatives and many friends.

A private Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery, 1301 Riverside Drive, Macon, GA 31202 with Dr. David W. Key, Sr. officiating. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Reynolds Plantation Pavilion, 3310 Linger Longer Road, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Becky Matheny officiating followed by a reception. The family requests that any memorials be made to Casting 4 A Cure, On behalf of: Barrett Kammerer, 2757 Utica St, Denver, CO 80212, www.casting4acure.com. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
