Marjorie E. (Johnston) Lamb, age 81, of Greensboro, Georgia, died Friday, April 4, 2003 at Willow Run Retirement Home. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was born August 21, 1921 to the late Wilbur Leroy Johnston and Jeannette Rupp Johnston.
She was the loving wife of Wendal Lamb of Greensboro, Georgia and will be dearly missed by us all including a daughter, Melissa L. Danko and husband Larry of Springfield, Massachusetts; a son, Roger A. Lamb and wife Patricia of Greensboro, Georgia; a sister, Gail E. Johnston of Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania; two grandsons, Todd Lamb of Detroit, Michigan and Mark Danko of Springfield Massachusetts and a granddaughter, Virginia Danko of Springfield, Massachusetts. She was a devoted wife for 60 years and enjoyed flowers, birds, wildlife and family. A long time resident of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania where she was a member of Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church, she recently moved to Willow Run Retirement Home in Greensboro, Georgia where St. Mary''s Hospice assisted in her battle with cancer.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at 5:00 p.m. in their apartment at the Willow Run Retirement Home with Rev. Ira McKeever officiating.
