Marie A. Eick

Marie A. Eick, age 67, of Greensboro, GA died Friday, June 17, 2005 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Born in Brooklyn, NY on February 23, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosina Lupo. She was a graduate of Roselle Park High School in New Jersey. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cross stitching and bowling with her friends. Mrs. Eick previously resided in Basking Ridge, NJ and Charlotte, NC before retiring in July of 1997 to her home in Greene County, GA on Lake Oconee. She is survived by her husband, James E. "Jim" Eick of Greensboro, GA; two sons, Jim Eick and wife Tracey of Alpharetta, GA, and Randy Eick of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Raymond Lupo and wife Carol of Hillsborough, NJ and Joseph Lupo and wife Maja of Ft. Myers, FL; two grandchildren, J.C. Eick and Sarah Marie Eick of Alpharetta, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church of Greensboro, GA with Father Philip Ryan officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Jim Eick, J.C. Eick, Randy Eick, Luka Adl, Joseph Lupo and Raymond Lupo. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home and Tuesday after the Funeral Service in the Sacred Heart Social Hall.
