Marcus Tarpley Obituary

Marcus William Tarpley passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in Augusta, GA at the age of 75. He was born November 8, 1933 in Bexar County, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Harry Tarpley and Rosa Parham Tarpley. He is survived by his brother, Joe Tarpley and wife Martha of Stone Mountain, GA; nieces, Frances Braswell, Sarah Tarpley and Heather Tarpley; and nephew, John Tarpley.

Bill graduated from University High School in Athens, GA. He enjoyed fishing and listening to music.

Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Tim Tabler officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at McCommons Funeral Home.
