Madonna Frank Heinen

Madonna Frank Heinen age 88 of Greensboro, GA passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at The Glen at Lake Oconee Village.  Born in Chicago, Illinois May 18, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Margaret Schuller Frank. Madonna graduated from River Forest High School in the class of 1948.  She also attended Rosary College and Lake Forest College.  On September 6, 1952 she married G. Richard Heinen. After the birth of her six children, she became a stay-at-home mom who was very active in their sports and school activities through the years.  Madonna was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Her hobbies included knitting, needlepoint, raising dogs and golfing for which she won the club championship.  In October of 2017, they moved from Hudson, FL to Greensboro to live at the Glen at Lake Oconee Village.

In addition to her husband of 67 years, Richard Heinen of Greensboro, GA, survivors include her four sons: John Heinen (Allison) of Greensboro, GA, Rick Heinen (Barbara) of Crystal Beach, FL, Michael Heinen (Laurie Beach) of Mooresville, NC, Steve Heinen (Tammy) of Gainesville, GA and a daughter, Kathy White of Gainesville, GA; eleven grandchildren;  seven great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Heinen, and a brother, Bill Frank.
