Madison Clifford Taylor, Sr

Madison Clifford “Mac” Taylor, Sr., died on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the age of 65 at his residence in Mansfield, GA. He was born January 3, 1947 in Crawfordville, GA the son of the late Emmett Alford Taylor and Oline Combs Taylor. He graduated from Alexander Stephens Institute in Crawfordville. He worked as a dairyman and was a great handyman who could fix anything. He loved animals and enjoyed rambling. Mac is survived by a daughter, Robin Taylor Dauler and husband Doug of Watkinsville, GA; a son, Madison Clifford Taylor, Jr. and wife Leigh of Mansfield, GA; four grandchildren, Douglas Dauler, Jonathan Dauler, Summer Jarrard and Savanna Taylor; and a number of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Kathryn Taylor Clemmons, Louis Taylor, Emmett M. Taylor and Deleon Taylor. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery, 1560 Bethesda Church Road, Union Point, GA 30669 with Rev. Dennis Garner officiating.
