Madelyn Lowe Obituary

Madelyn Bertha Roberts Lowe, age 82, of Greensboro, GA, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at her residence. Born July 27, 1924 in Ingham County, MI, she was the daughter of the late J. D. Roberts and Alma V. Roberts. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas C. Lowe, of Greensboro, GA; a daughter, Debra Deniece Lenick and husband Larry J. Lenick of Greensboro, GA; a sister, Wanda Stephens of Knoxville, TN; two grandchildren, Deniece Lowe Chans (Douglas) of Duluth, GA and Jamie Jill Williams (James) of Madison, GA; five great grandchildren, Skylar, Colbie, Piper, Finn and Fritz. She was preceded in death by her brother, J. Dallas Roberts of Houghton Lake, MI.

Mr. and Mrs. Lowe resided in East Lansing, MI until 1985 before retiring to Venice, FL. They relocated to Greensboro to join their family in 2005.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, December 1, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Madison Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tim Boggess officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Heartland Hospice, 325 North Milledge Avenue, Athens, GA 30601. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
