Mabel Holley Cook Bramlett, age 92, of Woodville, GA, died Thursday, March 2, 2006 at Greene Point Health Care Center in Union Point. Born in Richmond County on May 21, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Stephens Holley and Sarah Elizabeth Murphey Holley. She attended schools in Augusta, GA. During her working career she was the manager at Bon-Air Hotel in Augusta. Mrs. Bramlett was a member of Woodville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her cousins, Betty Smith of Stone Mountain, GA, Eudene Hill Dianich of Woodville, GA, Vicki Smith of Stone Mountain, GA, Jerry Smith of Stone Mountain and Mike Smith of Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Guy T. Cook; second husband, Alton Bramlett; a daughter, Hazel Cook; and a son, James Cook. A Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Woodville Baptist Church in Woodville, GA with Rev. Farrett Boswell officiating. Interment Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Westview Cemetery in Augusta, GA. Serving as pallbearers are Dewitt Bramlett, George Bramlett, Richard Cook, Donald Silvey and Julian Davison. The family requests that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605 or to the Alzheimer''s Association, Georgia Chapter, 1925 Century Blvd., NE, Suite 10, Atlanta, GA 30345-3315.
