Lynne Majewski

Lynne Majewski ( née Ditzler), succumbed to stage 4 cancer on December 20th 2018. Lynne was a beloved friend, companion, mother and grandmother. Stylish, smart, self-taught and self-made, Lynne was a groundbreaking businessperson and trail blazer for women in the import/export business in a market dominated by men and big business in the 1970s. 

Ever creative and entrepreneurial, she founded her own company while simultaneously raising her two sons.
 
The daughter of a grocer and an executive secretary, Lynne was born in Chicago and lived in Barrington, Illinois and Greensboro, Georgia.

She is survived by her longtime companion Gerald Morris, her two sons Scott Landis and Dallas Majewski, grandchildren Brittany Majewski, Ella Landis and Nathaniel Landis, great grandson Dominick Majewski and her sister Judy James.

Donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and there will be a celebration of her life in the spring with details forthcoming.   McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
