Lucille Limber Dasher of Greensboro, GA, died Thursday, November 14, 2019 at her residence with her loved ones. She was 89. Lucille was born on July 12, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Leo Alexander Louks and Mae Vaughan Louks. She graduated from Armstrong State College with an associate’s degree. Lucille married Alan Dawson Limber in 1951, and they had three children: Alison, Donna and Gregg.
Lucille was the head of fundraising in Georgia for the American Cancer Society. Her career spanned for more than twenty years until she retired in 1992. In 1992, she married Gordon E. Dasher and moved from Marietta, GA to Lake Oconee in Greensboro. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Alan D. Limber and Gordon E. Dasher; and also a brother, William Thomas Louks. She is survived by a son, Gregg A. Limber of Marietta, GA; daughters, Alison Limber Beauchamp of Greensboro, GA and Donna Limber Stephens of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Christina Lynn Barber, Tracy Brooke Crenshaw, and Hayley Jane Crenshaw; great granddaughter, Madelyn Jane; as well as other family members and many friends.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, 303 N. Main Street, Greensboro, GA 30642.
