Lorraine Duvall Miller

Elizabeth Lorraine Duvall Miller, age 65, of the Greshamville Community, died Monday, February 4, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of Greene County, she was born on May 20, 1947 to the late Herman Loren Duvall and Eva Oline Copelan Duvall. She graduated from the Georgia School for the Deaf in Cave Spring, GA. Lorraine was the owner and operator of a poultry farming business and most recently worked for Pizza Hut in Madison, GA. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Greshamville. Lorraine loved animals, but was especially fond of her dogs.

Lorraine is survived by her husband, Steven Kent Miller, Sr. of the Greshamville Community; a son, Steven Kent "Chad" Miller, Jr. of Canton, GA; two brothers, Danny Duvall and wife Roberta and Tim Duvall and wife Henrietta both of the Greshamville Community; three grandchildren, Taylor, Riley and Avery Miller; a number of nephews; other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 1400 Farmington Road, Madison, GA 30650 with Rev. Mike Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Wynn Copelan, Jackie Copelan, Zippy Duvall, Bobby Osborne, Evan Duvall, Clay Duvall, Robert Duvall, Shane Duvall, Caleb Duvall and Jon Dyar. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at McCommons Funeral Home.
