Lillian Roberson Bryant

Lillian Varnia Roberson Bryant, age 69, of Buckhead, GA, died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at her residence with her family. Born on April 18, 1938 in Clarke County she was the daughter of the late John Allen Roberson and Lucille McClain Roberson. As a child she attended Clarke County Schools and married Floyd Allen Bryant on March 16, 1956. Lillian was a housewife and worked for a while as a cashier at several convenience store. She was a member of Buckhead Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband of fifty-one years, Floyd Allen Bryant, of Buckhead, GA, she is survived by a daughter, Juanita Bryant Bishop and husband Buddy of Farmington, GA; two sons, Mark Alvin Bryant and wife Charlotte of Madison, GA and Jason Bryant and wife Yvonne of Monks Corner, SC; five grandchildren, Dusty Bryant, Jessie Bryant, Brandy Bishop, Jeffery Miller and Britney Pierce; half sister, Connie Evans and husband Doug of Bogart, GA; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Michael Hardy officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Eddie Olson, Marty Reavis, Jeffery Miller, Jeffery Bryant, Cecil Elder and Kenneth Bush. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
