Leahman Rance “Mack” McNair, age 34, of Danielsville, Georgia, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born March 12, 1979 in Athens, GA he was the son of Carolyn Virginia Sampley McNair of Dothan, AL and the late Jackie Oliver McNair. He attended grade school in Alabama and Madison County High School. Mack worked for the Southeastern Paving and Grading in Loganville, GA and also worked for Craven Pottery in Commerce until it closed. In his pastime he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mack is survived by his mother, Carolyn Virginia Sampley McNair of Dothan, AL; stepmother, Joanne Lewis McNair of Danielsville, GA; brothers, Jackie Cicero “Junior” McNair of Vidalia, GA; Terry Hartley of Midland City, AL and Nicky Hartley (Christine) of Greenville, AL; sister, Rita Hartley Pollett (William) of Midland City, AL; nieces and nephews, Jason, Michelle, Nickolas, Tasha, DeAnna and Brandy; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Graveside Services will be held Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Siloam Cemetery, Church Street, Siloam, GA 30665 with Pastor Bobby Tomlin officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Albert McNair, Jr., Billy Moate, Jimmy McNair, Jr,, Derick Nursey, Terrell Bryant and Brett Sidwell. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon until time for the service at McCommons Funeral Home. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
