Larry Bonnelle Vickery

Larry Bonnelle Vickery, age 72, of Conyers, GA formerly of Greensboro, GA, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at his residence.  Larry was born May 8, 1943 in Senoia, GA to the late Ralph Vickery and Elouise Barge Vickery.  Larry graduated from Senoia High School and then attended Young Harris College.  He entered into the United States Navy where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and received a number of medals and an honorable discharge.  Following his time with the Navy, he joined Rich’s in Atlanta, where he was a Resident Engineer.  On February 6, 1993 he married Jacquelyn Stanley Vickery and in 2006 they moved to Greensboro, GA.  While living in Greensboro, Larry was a Mason with the San Marino Lodge #34 and a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensboro.  Larry had many hobbies, but really enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with family and friends.
    
In addition to his wife, Jackie Vickery of Conyers, GA, he is survived by two daughters, Amy Young of Florida and Angela Neil of Gay, GA; two stepsons, Durwood Hinely and Joe Hinely; and several grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his sister.

Funeral Services with masonic rites will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Mark Jones and Rev. Mike Thomas officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service at McCommons Funeral Home.  Interment with military honors will be Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at English Eddy Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 8990 US Hwy 1, Lyons, GA 30436 with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating.  Serving as pallbearers are Durwood Hinely, Joe Hinely, Jake Hinely, Jimmy Peebles, Lance Peebles and Leonard Ray Bilbo.  McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
