Kimberly Beal “Kim” Patterson

Kimberly Beal “Kim” Patterson, of Woodville, GA, died on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at the age of 40.  Born in Greensboro, GA on July 12, 1974, she was the daughter of Susan Ruark Copelan of Greshamville and Faron Lee Beal of Greensboro, GA.  In 1992 she graduated from Greene County High School.  At the present time she was working for Dr. Gregory Smith in Athens, GA as a nursing assistant and had also worked for Dr. Brian Hall in Watkinsville, GA.  She was a member of the Woodville Baptist Church.  Kim enjoyed fishing, camping, riding the river and being with family and friends.  She will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her.

In addition to her mother, Susan Copelan of Greshamville and her father, Faron Beal (Tracie) of Greensboro, GA, she is survived by her husband, Terry Patterson of Greensboro, GA; a stepson, Cody Patterson of Greensboro, GA; sister, Hannah Copelan of Greshamville and Fiance, Josh Thompson; brothers, C. M. Copelan (Annie) of Greshamville and Matthew Beal of Greensboro, GA; niece and nephew, Chloe Copelan and Charlie Copelan;  a number of other relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Woodville Baptist Church, 1191 Peachtree Avenue E., Woodville, GA  30669 with Rev. Patrick Tice officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woodville Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers are Matthew Beal, Cody Patterson, Robert Eddy, C. M. Copelan, Josh Thompson and Dakato Ballard.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until time for the service at Woodville Baptist Church.  McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
