Kimberly Ann Lambert, age 41, of Buckhead, GA, daughter of Monna Eubanks Lumsden and Charles A. Lumsden, went to be with our Lord during the evening hours of Monday, December 30, 2013 at the home of her parents in Reynolds Plantation. She came to this earth on June 19, 1972 in Greenville, SC. Kim graduated from Sacred Heart Academy, the University of Kentucky and Sullivan University with a degree in Culinary Arts. On November 5, 2005, she married Aaron Rex Lambert of Eatonton, GA at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, GA. She served as a Confection Consultant to the University of Georgia at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, GA. Kim practiced the culinary from an early age and became a master of the trade. Her calling was confection and she had no peers in the craft. She was also very talented in interior decorating, art design and home gardening. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensboro, but more recently had attended Lakeside Church at Lake Oconee. She moved to Greene County thirteen years ago from Louisville, KY.
In addition to her parents, Monna and Charles Lumsden of Reynolds Plantation, Greensboro, GA, Kim is survived by her husband of eight years, Aaron Lambert of Buckhead, GA, two children, Benjamin Rex Lambert and Charlie Ann Lambert of Buckhead, GA; sister, Elisa Hudson and husband Clinton of Frisco, TX and their children, Kara, Clayton and Katie; her paternal grandmother, Ruby Lumsden Cornett and husband Lewis; other relatives and many close friends.
Memorial Services will be held, Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeside Church at Lake Oconee, 5800 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Stan Patterson and Rev. Lee Ross officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service at Lakeside Church. The family requests any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
