Kimberly DeAnn Easton Griffith of Union Point, GA, died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA.  Born August 29, 1963 in Portsmouth, VA she was the daughter of Clyde Randall Evans and Joan Mary Brigham Cook.  She graduated from West Laurens High School. She was 55.  She worked for North American Pipe Company as the Logistics Shipping Manager.  Her many enjoyments were poetry, movies, drawing, singing, puzzles, guitars and fast cars.  Kim was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Union Point. 
 
In addition to her mother Joan Mary Brigham Cook of Union Point, GA; father, Clyde Randall Evans of Byron, GA, she is survived by daughters, Carla Chapman (Duane) of Macon, GA, Christie Vandiver (Kyle) of Greensboro, GA; stepdaughter, Rebecca Mency (Chris) of Cordele, GA sons, Jonathan Hooks (Sarah) of Byron, GA, Michael Easton (Briana) of Union Point, GA; brother, Dodd Evans; stepsister, Tanya McCall; twelve grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Timothy Griffith in July of 2016.
 
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethesda Baptist Church, 1560 Bethesda Church Road, Union Point, GA 30669 with Rev. Bruce Lovin officiating.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be in the Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers are Michael Easton, Jonathan Hooks, Sam Brown, Kyle Vandiver, Chris Mency and Duane Chapman.  The family requests that any memorials be made to  Carla Chapman 1030 S.
