Johnny Melvin Hagwood
Johnny Melvin Hagwood, age 45, of Greensboro, GA, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital. A lifelong resident of Greene County, he was born on May 16, 1960 to the late Billy William Hagwood and Peggy Jean Evans Hagwood. He graduated from Greene County High School. During his working career, he was a cook for Waffle House and a machine operator for Conex. Johnny was a member of West End Baptist Church. A He is survived by a sister, Tammy Hagwood Brown and husband Chuck of Winder, GA; a brother, Keith Hagwood and wife Debra of Union Point, GA; a loving friend, Sara Fielder Madroe; an aunt, Helen Green of Crawford, GA; two uncles, Flay Evans of Madison, GA and Emmerson Haywood of Watkinsville, GA; a niece, Stefanie Brown and Shayne Bowden; a great nephew, Stephen Bowden; a very special little cousin, Austin Greer; and a number of other relatives and friends. A Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Dennis Garner officiating. Interment will follow at Edwards Baptist Church Cemetery in Crawford, GA. Serving as pallbearers are Frank Baggett, Jerry Woods, Scott Channell, Robbie James, Bruce Hall, Terry Lindsey and Ernie Lindsey.
