Joann Williford English

Joann Williford English, 65, of Danielsville, GA died on Friday, August 27, 2010 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Daughter of the late Epps David Williford and Callie Bell Adams, Joann was born on December 3, 1944, in Washington, Georgia in Wilkes County. She attended Forest Hill High School in Atlanta. For over forty-two years she was a packager for Chipman Union and Bryan Scott. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Vickie Lynn English Batchelor and fiance'', Jimmy Burkhead of Danielsville, GA; a son, Richard David "Ricky" English, Sr. and wife Chic of Stephens, GA; sisters, Linda W. McDonald and husband Dean of Union Point, GA, Faye W. Gipson of Newnan, GA and Cherry W. Goss and husband Robert of Rayle, GA; grandchildren, Richard English Jr. and Erica English of Watkinsville, GA, Kristin English, Jeremy Arnold and Megan Batchelor all of Danielsville, GA, Kelsey English and Wesley Moore of Covington, GA, John Batchelor of Griffin, GA, Johnny Martin and Chevi Card of Colbert, GA, Tasha Hayes of Dahlonega, GA and Erica Abunaw of Atlanta, GA; eleven great grandchildren, Guy English, Aiden English, Tegan Arnold, Masen Arnold, Rylan Moore, Brandon Aikens, Austin Aikens, Evan Aikens, Cheyenne Hayes, Tatyanna Abunaw and Jasiyah Abunaw; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1423 N. Rhodes Street, Union Point, GA 30669 with Rev. Dennis Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon at Callaway Funeral Home. Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N.
