Jennifer Watkins

Mrs. Jennifer Watkins, age 56, of 1901 Pine Grove Road, Greensboro, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2004. Jenny was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 15, 1947 to the late John and Margaret "Mokie" Venter. She is survived by her husband David "Brooster"; two stepsons, Paul and Daniel Watkins both of Morganton, NC; her sister, Cele and family, David, Patrick and Mickayla Hennigan formerly of Capetown, South Africa, now residing in England; a cousin, Dennis and Fran Huddleston and family of Encino, CA; an aunt, Cynnobia Neethling and children of Capetown, South Africa.

Jenny was an active member of the Oconee Regional Humane Society and the Greensboro Writer''s Guild.

A celebration of Jenny''s life will be held at McCommons Chapel in Greensboro on Saturday, August 7, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. At a later date her cremains will be scattered privately by her husband "Brooster" in the mountains that she loved so well.
