James Rogers Obituary

James M. Rogers aka Jimmy, of Suwanee Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2019 in Greensboro Georgia.

James was born on January 9th, 1930 in Goodwater Alabama to Naomi and Savory Rogers. He earned an associate degree from Lee University in Cleveland, TN in 1950. He served in the United States Army in a stateside capacity during the Korean War. He married Margaret Ann Eubanks on April 27th, 1953 and was co-founder of Rogers-Wood and Associates, an independent insurance agency. He retired in 2016. James was an Elder Emeritus at Mt. Paran Church of God in Atlanta and he was active in the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship at the local, state, national and international levels. James is survived by his wife Margaret and daughter Linda Renee. He had one son, Ricky Lynn, deceased. Two granddaughters, LindaAnn (Paul) and Lisa (Justin) and four greatgrandchildren.
