Jack Millard Casper of Union Point, Georgia, died on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Greene Point Health Care Center in Union Point. One of ten children, Jack was born in Penfield, GA in Greene County on June 15, 1938, the son of the late Marcus Edsel Casper and Louise Epps Casper. As a child he attended Union Point Schools. Most of his life was spent in Union Point where he cut grass for everyone and enjoyed watching tv. Before moving to Greene Point Health Care Center, Jack lived in Gainesville with his sister, Virginia, for two and a half years. Jack lived a good and happy life with his family and friends. He was a member of the Union Point Worship Center.
He is survived by his sister, Virginia Smith of Gainesville, GA and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Hoyt Casper, Joel Casper, Wayne Casper, Eddie O''Dean Casper, Marcus Eugene Casper, Mary Wade, Betty Jean Casper and Dolly Monia Casper.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery, Rhodes Street, Union Point, GA 30669 with Rev. Dennis Mitchell officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Mike Casper and Robbie Hardigree. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m Friday night at Callaway Funeral Home in Union Point.
