Hilda Maude Mullins Cantrell A Hilda Maude Mullins Cantrell, 84, of Penfield, Georgia died Friday, August 12, 2005 at her home. A native of Greene County, she was born on September 28, 1920 to the late Earl Mullins and Amanda Campbell Mullins. Mrs. Cantrell graduated from Greensboro High School in 1938. She was a clerk at the Department of Family and Children Services in Greensboro and was a filing clerk at Warner Robbins Air Force Base. Later she worked for Greensboro Florist retiring in 1975. Mrs. Cantrell was a member of Penfield Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Albert Cantrell, Sr. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Bell Cantrell Bullock of Penfield, GA; a son, Thomas A. Cantrell, Jr. of West Columbia, SC; three grandchildren, Laurie Boyd, Derrick Cantrell and Anson Cantrell; four great grandchildren, Aiden Cantrell, Aly Cantrell, Kayla Cantrell and Dagon Cantrell and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be held Monday, August 15, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Penfield Cemetery with the Rev. David Jordan officiating.
