Helen Marie Boyd Hayden, 80 years old, passed away at her home in Greensboro, GA on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 7:15 a.m., due to an extended illness. Helen was born in McCarr, KY on August 5, 1932 to the late Etta and Raymond Boyd, Sr. Helen was a member of the Southern Home Old Regular Baptist Church, Ocala, FL. She will be especially remembered as a wonderful and beloved mother, wife and mamaw. Mother loved the Lord and always opened her home to feed the congregation. She made everyone who entered feel welcome. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, but we know and are thankful that she is at home with Jesus and suffering no more.
Helen is preceded in death by her son, Gary Lynn Adair of Greensboro, GA and daughter, Nancy Jane Adair of Ocala, FL. She is survived by her husband, Roy Melvin Hayden of Greensboro, GA; her son, Johnny Adair, Jr. of Greensboro, GA, her daughter, Sue Etta Adair of Conyers, GA, her daughter, Sandy Jean Adair of Ocala, FL; 12 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are welcome for her viewing at Charity Church, 3180 Penfield Road, Greensboro, GA on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Services to be held at Charity Church, 3180 Penfield Road, Greensboro, GA at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2013.
