Harvey E. Sorrow, 75, of Union Point, GA, died Sunday, May 2, 2010.

Born in Greene County on June 28, 1934, he was the son of the late Ellis Sorrow and Janette Thornton Sorrow.

He worked for the US Postal Service and Chipman-Union in Union Point, GA, and retired from Dixie Hosiery in Comer, GA.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Sally Sorrow, Union Point, GA, daughters, Lynn Sorrow and Lisa (Randy) Shuman, Union Point, GA, son, Tommy (Stacy) Sorrow, Comer, GA, brother, Charles Otis (Dorothy)Sorrow, Morrow, GA, grandchildren, Steve (Brandy) Shuman, Scott Shuman (fiance, Catie Ruskey), Tate Sorrow, great grandchildren, Taylor and Nathan Shuman, and special fishing buddy, Mitzi Beussee.

The family will be at the home of Sally Sorrow, 1610 Washington Highway, Union Point, GA.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In rememberance, donations may be made to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, The Georgia Chapter, 3715 Northside Parkway, 400 Northcreek, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30327. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
