Harold Chester Stephens

Harold Chester Stephens, age 55, of Buckhead, GA, died Friday, April 22 2011, at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle, GA. He was born on January 8, 1956 in Greensboro, GA to the late Hoyt Jackson Stephens and Lucille Jenkins Stephens. He attended Morgan County High School. He was a contractor and builder and owner of Stephens Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and especially his grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Bonner Stephens of Buckhead, GA; a daughter, Leigh Ann Stephens of Milledgeville, GA; a son, Chester Riley Stephens of Buckhead, GA; grandson, Chester Randy Stephens; mother-in-law, Ruth Bonner wife of the late Everett Bonner; sisters, Helen Pardon and husband Herman of Hiawassee, GA, Mary Alice Peters of Fair Play, GA, Ann Stephens of Madison, GA and Angela Chambers of Toccoa, GA; sisters-in-law, Nell Stephens, Linda Ogle, Jean Stephens, Gerald Warren and husband Daryl and Vckie Huff; brother-in-law, Ed Bonner and wife Mollie; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ed "Bo" Stephens, Hoyt "Shorty" Stephens, Dan "Broad Eye" Stephens, Ralph "Randy" Stephens and Billy Stephens.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Stacy Carver officiating.
