Guy Bertrand Brisebois

Guy Bertrand Brisebois, age 72, of Eatonton, Georgia, died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Les Escoumins Quebec, Canada, on August 26, 1937, he was the son of the late Lionel Brisebois and Rosalia Maltais Brisebois. Guy grew up in Canada and graduated from Arvida Canada High School. He served in the Royal Canadian Army for three years, married in 1964 and moved to the United States in 1968 to Daytona Beach, Florida. He worked for Ranger Construction in Daytona Beach, Florida for thirty-five years as a Diesel Mechanic. After retiring, he moved to Eatonton in November of 2007.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Marie Graham Brisebois of Eatonton, GA; two daughters, Marie Louise Ann Brisebois of Greensboro, GA and Lucy Lynn Brisebois of Eatonton, GA; four sisters, Gisele Brisebois of Chicoutimi Quebec, Canada, Jeanna Brisebois of Chicoutimi Quebec, Canada, Ghislaine Brisebois of Jonquiere Quebec, Canada, Lily Brisebois of Quebec City Quebec, Canada and Denise Brisebois of Jonquiere Quebec, Canada; a brother, Jean Marie Brisebois of Jonquiere Quebec, Canada; grandchildren, Joshua Brisebois, Steven Langford, Olivia Langford, Carlie Bowen, Jared Bowen and Emily Bowen; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the McCommons Chapel in Greensboro with Father G. Philip Ryan officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Joshua Brisebois, Steven Langford, Bill Kincer, Chris Adams, Doug Helmly and James Goss. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night at McCommons Funeral Home. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
