George Franklin Baggett, IV

George Franklin “G.F.” Baggett, IV, age 23, of the Macedonia Community, died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Athens Regional Medical Center. G.F. was born in Fulton County on August 3, 1984 to George Franklin “Frank” Baggett, III and Cathey Elaine Russell Baggett of the Macedonia Community. He graduated from Greene County High School where he worked in the supply store. G.F. loved to talk and dance the “Baggett Boogie”. He lived a full and happy life with his family and friends. His other interest included listening to country music and sitting on the porch. He enjoyed watching his favorite programs, Barney, Arthur and Clifford on T. V. He loved everybody and everybody loved him. In addition to his parents, Frank and Cathey Baggett of the Macedonia Community, G.F. is survived by a brother, Daniel Wayne Baggett of the Macedonia Community; a step sister, Tonya Smith of Summerville, GA; great grandmother, Verma Channell Crane; and a number of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Effie and Robert Russell; and his paternal grandparents, Helen and George Baggett, Jr. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Greensboro with Rev. Michael Hardy officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Hal Ogletree, Jimmy Richards, Jeff Snipes, David Snipes, Scott Burgess and John Baggett.
