Garrett Timothy Elton

Garrett Timothy Elton, age 32, of Greensboro, GA, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.  Garrett was born on April 23, 1985 in Hollywood, FL to Marcia Lynn Brown Daniel and Timothy Robert Elton.  As a child he was intrigued with flying.   He spent hours constructing model planes and jets.  His collection was extensive.  His dream of piloting his own plane was fulfilled as a young adult.  He met and married the love of his life June 28, 2003, Christina Dell Butzer.  
 
Garrett is survived by his wife, Christina Dell Elton; his children, Leanna Dell Elton, Emma Lynn Elton and Benjamin Garrett Elton;  his mother and step-father, Marcia and Ken Daniel; his brother, Cavin Edwin Elton; his sisters, Morgan Victoria Elton and Elizabeth Marie Daniel; his sister and brother-in-law, Lindsey Caroline Elton Wickizer and Keith Wickizer; his nephew, Aiden Law Wickizer; his maternal grandmother, Marlene Merritt Brown; his aunt, Anita Carol Brown and many other dear relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held Sunday March 11, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Walker United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2730 Walker Church Road, Greensboro, GA 30642.  The family requests that any memorials be made to St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital, 5401 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro, GA 30642.  McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
