Frank Anthony Crocitto
Frank Anthony Crocitto, 80, of Greensboro, Georgia, died suddenly on Tuesday, May 24 2016. He was born on January 30, 1936, in Staten Island, New York, to the late Peter and Regina Labetti Crocitto. Frank grew up in Staten Island, where he received his education. He married Tanis Phelps on June 30, 2000 and they lived in Hilton Head, SC before moving to Greensboro in 2010. Until he retired at the age of 61, Frank had a successful career in computer programming. Before starting his own business, XSP, Inc., Frank worked for Xerox and a number of other companies. Frank was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro where he volunteered as the greeter on Sunday mornings. A passion for photography and travel accompanied his love for computers and technology.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Tanis Crocitto; daughters, Jeanne Fazio, Nancy Crocitto and Laura Eighmey; step-sons, Patrick, Joseph, Heath and Christian Pitcheralle; siblings Cathy, Rafaella, Peggy and Regina; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren and many friends. He also enjoyed a special relationship with his nephew, Jimmy Battista. Frank was preceded in death by Irene McKinney, his previous wife and the mother of his children.
A private family viewing will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at McCommons Funeral Home with a celebration of his life being held at a later date.
