Frances Rowland Collins, age 87, of Greensboro, GA, died Saturday, January 15, 2005 at Athens Regional Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Greene County she was born on October 25, 1917 to the late Stinson Isaiah Rowland and Viola Thompson Rowland. She was a homemaker and member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Hugh Collins, in August of 1983 and a son-in-law, Jerry Cook. She is survived by a daughter, Frances Collins Cook of Greensboro, GA; a brother, W. S. "Bill" Rowland of Jefferson, GA; three grandchildren, Mike Lynn and wife Toni of Greensboro, GA, Angela Booth of Danielsville, GA and Scott Lynn of Irving, TX; three great grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn, Crystal Lynn and Shane Booth; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodville Cemetery with Rev. Gary Nicholas officiating.
