Ernest Herman Lindsey

Ernest Herman “Ernie” Lindsey, age 47, of Greensboro, Georgia died Monday, May 9, 2016 at Putnam General Hospital in Eatonton, Georgia after a battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Greene County, he was born July 8, 1968 in Madison, GA to the late Terry Lee Lindsey, Sr. and Hazel Louise McElhannon Lindsey. He attended school in Greensboro and was self employed in the lawncare business.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by four brothers, Casey Lindsey,  Terry Lindsey Jr, Jonathan Lindsey, and Stanley Lindsey all of Greensboro, GA; nephews, Jacob Lindsey and Charles Lindsey; and a number of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Union Point Worship Center, Union Point, Georgia. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W. Broad St., Greensboro, GA, (706) 453-2626, is in charge of arrangements.
