Eloise Johnson Cook

Eloise Johnson Cook, age 85, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at Greene Point Health Care and Rehab in Union Point, GA. Mrs. Cook was born in Warrenton, Georgia on March 4, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Duvall Johnson and Maggie Guy Johnson. She grew up in Warrenton and attended Warren County Schools. On July 17, 1949 she married John Walter Cook. She worked for Union Manufacturing in Union Point retiring after forty-two years. Mrs. Cook was a member of the First Baptist Church of Union Point.

She is survived by her husband, John Walter Cook of Union Point, GA; and two sisters, Garland Dye of Camack, GA and Connie Buffington of Mesena, GA; and a number of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ethma Pearson, Vivian Smith, Lucy Rae Bryant and Orville Johnson.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Johnson United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2815 Gibson Hwy., Warrenton, GA 30828 with Rev. Harry Michael officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday night at Callaway Funeral Home. Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N.
